How it fits your practice.
Pickleball Tracker & Drills is built around one loop: know what to train, practice with a number in mind, log it in under a minute, and get coached back. Here's every part of it.
01
Tell it your level. Get a path.
Answer a few questions — your level, what you want to work on and, if you've played, how your skills feel today — and the app recommends a training path to start with. Your first session has a plan instead of a blank page.
- Focus on the soft game, serves and returns, net play, drives, doubles, singles, footwork or the mental game
- Rate your skills in one tap each: it starts your training card, and “All-around” starts the path on your lowest skill
- New to pickleball? It asks what you played before — tennis players get a path of their own
- Change your answers, browse every path, or build your own drill lists
Do I need to know which drills to do?
No. A path is a step-by-step progression of drill lists. Start one and the app shows what's up today.
02
Your pre-practice checklist.
Pilots run a checklist before every flight. Before you step on court, check today's session: which drills are up and what you hit last time on each one — the number to beat. Practice starts with an intent, not just a warm-up.
- Smart sessions pick a handful of drills from the list for today, mixed so it isn't all one kind of shot
- Last result on every drill, and a target for each
- Not feeling the pick? Shuffle it, or show every drill
What decides which drills are in a session?
Smart training looks at what you haven't trained in a while, what needs work, and what keeps you motivated, then mixes them. You can always shuffle or show every drill.
03
Count what you hit. That's the whole trick.
Knowing you'll write the number down changes how you practice: every rep counts. Track what matters per drill — 7 of 10 landed, minutes held, rally length, a rating, a game score.
- Tally as you go with + Made and + Miss, or tap the total after
- A scale per drill: success rate, count, minutes, rating or score
- Needs a connection to save — if signal drops, your entry stays on screen until you retry
Do I have to keep my phone out while I play?
No. Count in your head and log after. If you like logging between drills, the tally buttons are built for one thumb.
04
Log it in under a minute. Get coached back.
Your last results are pre-filled, so a full session is a few taps. Every session ends with a debrief: personal bests, progress toward learning a skill, and a suggestion on your targets.
- “Same as last time” fills a drill in one tap
- Personal bests are celebrated the moment you log them
- Hit your target twice and it suggests raising it; struggle and it suggests easing off — you decide
What if I log later, not right after practice?
That's fine — start the session when you're ready and pick the day it happened. The debrief works the same.
05
Your skills, rated by your practice.
Your training card leads the Today page. It rates eight skills, from serve and return to dinking, hands and game IQ, from your own logged results, with a Doubles and Singles overall and the play style your strongest skills point to. Tap a skill to see which drills moved it. A training rating, not a match rating.
- One session gives a skill its first number; a Skill check proves it, the same test for every player
- Skip a skill past your usual gap and it slowly slips; one session brings it back
- It names the drill for the skill that needs you most, and starts today's session with it
- Not sure where you stand? Start from a quick self-estimate; your results take over
Is it the same as my match rating?
No. It rates how your practice is going, from the drills you log. Games and tournaments don't feed it.
06
Proof, not a feeling.
The Progress screen puts your first sessions next to your latest on every drill, for the last 30 days, 90 days or all time — what's improving, what's slipping, your week streak and new personal bests. Every drill keeps its record book too, and a list counts as learned only when your logged results prove it: enough sessions, on target over a span of days (one off session allowed), with most of its drills solid. Once learned, it stays learned.
- One Progress screen: first sessions vs latest, across every drill
- Charts per drill and per list, session by session
- Personal bests and a week streak
- Badges for training days, shots and special dates, Bronze to Elite skill badges from Skill checks, and a monthly goal for every shot set from your own pace
- Mastered drills come back now and then, so skills stay sharp
What does “learned” mean exactly?
Each drill on target session after session across a span of days, one off session allowed, and about 8 in 10 of a list's drills solid. Not one good day.
07
Prove a step. Unlock the next.
A path is a ladder of drill lists. The next step opens when you've proven the current one in real sessions — and locked steps stay visible, with what's left to learn, so you always know what's ahead.
- Built-in paths, from a first game to dinking and third-shot mastery
- Build your own path from your own drill lists
- Public paths are open to everyone — find any by name or author
- See the time to finish before you start: about 24 sessions, ~8 weeks at 3 a week
- Already know a step? Test out in one session
- Finish a path and it suggests the next one, for the skill going rusty
Can I skip ahead?
You can open and train any list. Already know a step? Test out: one session with every drill of the step, and the ones you hit count. Otherwise the ladder marks a step learned once your results show it.
08
Same plan. Own scoreboard.
Share a drill list with your training group. Everyone trains the same drills and keeps their own records, bests and progress.
- Make a group once, then share any list with it in one tap
- Each person's results stay their own
- Stop sharing any time
Can my partners see my results?
Sharing a list shares the plan — the drills. Everyone's scoreboard is their own.
09
As much of a nudge as you want.
Turn on push notifications and choose how hard the app pushes you: only when a session goes stale, a nudge on your usual training days, or daily until you log.
- Minimal, Balanced or Coach me
- Delivered to the phones you choose
- Off in one tap
Will it spam me?
No. Pick Minimal and it only speaks up when a session goes stale — or turn notifications off entirely.
10
Your athletes' homework, tracked.
Add athletes without accounts, assign them a path, and log their drills courtside. When an athlete is ready, they claim their own account with every session intact.
- Athletes need no app or email to start
- Log a practice on an athlete's behalf, right from the court
- Hand the account over when they're ready
Is this for clubs and classes too?
Yes — a PE class, a junior program or a clinic works the same: one roster, one plan, individual progress.

Free to start. Some features — like smart sessions, reminder frequency, sharing and coaching — come with a paid plan; plans and prices are in the app.
